1. What we collect

We do not operate user accounts, and we do not collect or store your search queries on our servers. When you search, your request goes directly to the official tariff services (GOV.UK Trade Tariff API) or is served from our bundled reference data.

Like virtually every website, the Cloudflare Workers infrastructure automatically records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, requested page) for security and performance. These logs are short-lived and are not used to build profiles.

2. Advertising & cookies

This site is funded by advertising, delivered through Google AdSense or similar third-party networks. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites (interest-based advertising).

Under the UK GDPR you have rights over your personal data, including access, rectification, erasure and objection. Because we hold no personal data about you beyond transient technical logs, these rights are in practice exercised with the relevant infrastructure provider.
