Is the WCO HS Database free?

The WCO's own HS Database is a subscription service, but the HS Nomenclature itself is published by the WCO and free to view. This site bundles the complete HS 2022 six-digit nomenclature as reference data.

When does the HS nomenclature change?

The HS is revised roughly every five years. The current edition, HS 2022, entered into force on 1 January 2022. The next edition (HS 2027) is expected to apply from 1 January 2027.
